2020-11-28: After the storm all is quiet along the Santa Fe River
The most beautiful part of the Santa Fe River is arguably between the north and south branches of East Alameda Street, east of Delgado Street. Trails follow the river which reach a small waterfall, an area most favored as flowing waters and waterfalls are unusual sights in Santa Fe. Above the waterfall the river flows slowly in the middle of trees and bushes. In winter the contrast is striking between white snows, brown waters filled with sediments, and dark trees with fall reddish fall leaves.
