2019-09-16: Clouds in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains east of Santa Fe
The Sangre de Cristo Mountains, located east of Santa Fe, play a critical role in the Santa Fe water supply. A common scenario consists in clouds accumulating over the mountains during the day, while the sun still shines in the City of Santa Fe. Later in the afternoon the clouds come down towards the Rio Grande valley and Santa Fe gets sudden and welcome rainfalls.
